FSSAI extends compliance period of Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) First Amendment Regulations, 2025 up to 1st May 2026

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (“FSSAI”) has issued a notification, extending the compliance period for newly added standards of Meat Sausages under the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) First Amendment Regulations 2025, by a period of six months from 1st May, 2026. The compliance period for the standards of Meat Sausages will now apply from 1st November, 2026.
