With a view to commemorate the 75 glorious years of a progressive independent nation, the Ministry of Culture has directed the Confederation of lndian Industry (“CII”) to encourage all employees under its jurisdiction to hoist the Indian National Flag in their premises and subsequently upload a selfie with the flag at (www.harghartiranga.com).
Additionally, they may also take the PanchPran Pledge and upload selfie with mitti at (www.yuva.gov.in or www.merimaatinteradesh.com).
Background: To instill the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people and promote awareness about the Indian National Flag, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign was launched in 2022 from 13th August to 15th August, 2022. It has been decided that the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign will be celebrated this year as well from 13th to 15th August, 2023 and people will be encouraged to hoist flags in their premises.
Further, this year along with Har Ghar Tiranga, Meri Maati MeraDesh campaign will also be celebrated wherein several events will be organized and initiatives will be taken at a Panchayat/Village, Block, Urban, Local Body, State and National level.
