West Bengal Govt. extends Covid-19 restrictions till 15th March, 2022; imposes Night Curfew from 12:00 am to 5:00 am

The Government of West Bengal has extended the existing COVID-19 restrictions (please refer to summaries in the trailing e-mails for details) in the State till 15th March, 2022.
Please note:
1. Employers and owners of establishments, offices, workplaces are required to ensure Covid norms, provide all COVID safety measures and ensure regular sanitization of work places;
2. Movement of people and vehicles and public gatherings of any kind will be prohibited between 12:00 midnight till 5:00 am. During this time only essential and emergency services will be permitted;
3. Covid Appropriate Behaviour including wearing of masks, maintenance of social distancing, health & hygiene protocols must be strictly adhered to and followed at all times;
Violation of the above-mentioned restrictions will be liable to be proceeded against as per relevant provisions of Disaster Management Act 2005 and under the Indian Penal Code.
