The Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee (“CPCC”), through a scroller in the Online Consent Management and Monitoring System (“OCMMS”), has informed that the Annual Return to be submitted by an authorized unit under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 (“Rules”), for hazardous waste management, is to be submitted online through the CPCC portal (https://chocmms.nic.in/).
The Annual Return for hazardous waste management is submitted in Form 4 of the Rules on or before 30th June of every year, by the following:
- An Occupier handling hazardous or other waste;
- An importer of hazardous and other wastes; and
- Occupier of a captive facility which produces hazardous or other waste.
