SEBI further extends timeline for submission of Annual Secretarial Compliance Report by listed entities till July 31, 2020 due to the continuing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic

In light of the representations received by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), industry bodies and listed entities requesting extension of time for submission of the Annual Secretarial Compliance (ASC) Report, SEBI has issued a Circular dated June 25, 2020 further extending the timeline for submission of the ASC Report by one more month i.e. to July 31, 2020.

SEBI had earlier extended the timeline for compliance from May 31, 2020, to June 30, 2020 in view of the difficulties and challenges faced by listed entities and Practicing Company Secretaries due to COVID-19.

Now, in view of the continuing impact of the CoVID-19 pandemic, a further extension has been granted.
