With a view to save lives and contain the spread of the COVID-19, the Health Department, Chandigarh Administration (“Department”), has allowed Private Laboratories (approved by ICMR) in Chandigarh to conduct RT-PCR test for Coronavirus without prescription from medical practitioners.
The tests shall be conducted on payment basis by the laboratories mentioned below (stipulated by the Administration of Chandigarh).
The following laboratories have been directed to act accordingly:
- Atulya Healthcare Private Limited; #11, Sector-11A, Chandigarh;
- SRL Labs, SCO 140, Sector 11, Chandigarh; and
- Metropolis Healthcare Limited. SCO 28, Sector 11D, Chandigarh.
The Department has also directed the private laboratories to quote the Directions of Chandigarh Administration or write Directorate of Health Services under the column for prescription.
