The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (“MCA”), with a Circular dated 28th September, 2020 has extended the time till which the Scheme for relaxation of time for filing forms related to creation or modification of charges under the Companies Act, 2013 (detailed in trail) will be applicable. The applicability of the Scheme has been extended from 30th September, 2020 to 31st December, 2020.
During the pandemic, MCA had rolled out the “Scheme for relaxation of time for filing forms related to creation or modification of charges under the Companies Act, 2013” (“Scheme”) to condone the delay in filing certain forms related to creation/modification of charges.
