Further extension granted for conducting mandatory food safety audit of Food Businesses under the FSS (Food Safety Auditing) Regulations, 2018 up to 31st December, 2020

In light of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has granted further extension to the last date for conducting mandatory food safety audit of Food Businesses under the Food Safety and Standards (Food Safety Auditing) Regulations, 2018 up to 31^st December, 2020.

Accordingly, the food businesses have been directed to get mandatory audit of their premises conducted by 31^st December 2020.
