The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (“FSSAI”), in a Notice dated 12th October 2020, has announced the launch of second phase of Food Safety and Compliance System (“FoSCoS”) in the remaining 27 States and Union Territories (“UTs”). FoSCoS shall gain effect from 26th October 2020.
Further, a new version of Food Safety Connect (Consumer Grievance) will be made live with FoSCoS on or before 1st November 2020.
Note– Please note that the FSSAI site- https://foscos.fssai.gov.in/ will be made live in 27 States and Union Territories with the migrated data on or before 1st November 2020. Also, in case of any query, the food businesses may contact the State helpdesk or the FSSAI helpline.
