The Labour Department of Haryana has approved the grant of registration of Shops & Commercial Establishments under the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958 by utilizing the common form for receiving online applications for registration of Shop & Commercial Establishment and Trade License through the online portal of Haryana Enterprise Promotion Centre.
Background:
The above-mentioned has been implemented pursuant to the State Business Reforms Action Plans, 2020 (“SBRAP”) of the Department of Promotion of Industries & Internal Trade (“DPIIT”), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, wherein it has been mandated that registration of shops and commercial establishments and / trade license (under local Municipal laws) be provided through a single form.
