The Securities and Exchange Board of India (“SEBI”) has extended the timeline for submission of comments on the on the Consultation Paper on ‘Introduction of provisions relating to appointment / re-appointment of persons who fail to get elected as Whole-time directors / Managing Directors at the general meeting of a listed entity from February 12 2021 to February 26, 2021.
The comments may be sent to Ms. Amy Durga Menon, Deputy General Manager, at amydurga@sebi.gov.in, and to Mr. Rajendran. S, Assistant Manager, at rajendrans@sebi.gov.in in the following format-
