The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (“IRDAI”) has issued a press release to clarify that charges for hospitalization will be covered under the health insurance policies in case of hospitalization owing to adverse reaction to COVID-19 vaccination, subject to specific terms and conditions of the policy.
