All corporate offices and private institutions in Gurugram advised to facilitate work from home till further notice as CAQM implements Stage IV GRAP actions to tackle Severe+ Air Quality

The District Administration, Gurugram has advised all corporate offices and private institutions in the District to guide their employees to Work from Home till further notice. This is with a view to support the effective implementation of the Graded Response Action Plan (“GRAP”) measures towards sustaining and improving air quality in the region.

Background: In view of the deteriorating air quality in the National Capital Region, the Commission for Air Quality Management (“CAQM”) in Delhi-NCR invoked actions under Stage IV of the Graded Response Action Plan (“GRAP”) – ‘Severe+’ Air Quality (Delhi AQI > 450) and directed for continuation of actions under Stage I, Stage II and Stage III. Under the measures to be implemented, the NCT State Governments / CNCTD were directed to take a decision on allowing public, municipal and private offices to work on 50% strength and the rest to work from home.
