The Securities and Exchange Board of India (“SEBI”) has issued a Master Circular covering the relevant applicable circulars and communications pertaining to depositories issued by SEBI up to 30th September, 2024. It has come into force on 3rd December 2024.
This Master Circular consists of following four sections:
- Beneficial Owner (BO) Accounts
- Depository Participants (DP) Related
- Issuer related
- Depositories Related.
The list of rescinded circulars is mentioned in Schedule–A of the Master Circular.
