Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) in its recent trade notice has issued clarification on difficulties faced by the exporters in closing Advance Authorisations (AA).
Exporters facing difficulties with closing AAs through the online system, due to inability of the system to capture complete description of the export items as per the export invoice are advised that Regional Authorities will verify the complete description of the export item. They will decide such on cases based on self-attested copies of GST system generated e-invoices. These documents may be uploaded along with all the other prescribed documents for Redemption/Export Obligation Discharge Certificate (EODC) of AAs.
