The Central Depository Services Limited (“CDSL”) in a recent Circular has advised Depository Participants concerning the Financial Intelligence Unit – India (FIU-IND) FINnet 2.0 portal registration. As per communication from FIU-IND dated 6th March, 2025, it has come to light that several entities have inaccurately registered their “RE Type,” prompting requests for corrections. In response, FIU-IND is offering a one-time rectification opportunity.
All Depository Participants are urged to verify their registered RE Type promptly through the following procedure:
- Login to the FINgate_2.0 portal;
- Navigate to the “My View” Tab;
- Access the “RE Details’’ Tab;
Should corrections be necessary, participants are required to submit the requisite details, including the ‘RE Name’, ‘FIUREID’, ‘Existing RE Type’, New ‘RE Type’ and ‘Reason for Change’, no later than 31st March, 2025, in the following format through email at helpdesk-re@fiuindia.gov.in.
