In a recent notification dated 21st November, 2018, the Haryana Labour Department has exempted all shops and commercial establishments under the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958, from renewing the Registration Certificates by 31st March, every year.
Hence, going forward shops and commercial establishments in Punjab/Haryana will not be required to renew the Registration Certificate by 31st March, every year.
