In a notification dated 10th December, 2018, the Government of Haryana has declared 16th December,2018 (Sunday) as a public holiday under the Section 25 of Negotiable Instruments Act,1881 for factories, commercial establishments, shops etc.
The holiday has been declared on account of the Polls for General Election of Municipal Corporation/s i.e. Hisar, Rohtak, Yamuna Nagar, Panipat and Karnal, Jakhal mandi (Fatehabad) and Pundri (Kaithal) which will be taking place.
