Pursuant to a recent notification issued by the Government of Bihar dated 7th December, 2018, all persons including manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and traders of plastic carry bags, shopkeepers, vendors, hawkers, feriwalas and sabjiwalas will have to dispose of their stock of plastic carry bags within 60 days from the date of the notification i.e, by 5th February, 2019.
