The Spices Board has recently on 8th February, 2019, in a circular, fixed the user fee for common processing and storage facilities in specified Spice Parks for the use by different stakeholders like Farmers, Farmers groups, Producer Companies, Societies, NGOs, Exporters, Processors and Traders. The Spice Park at Puttady in Kerala is also included in the list of Spice Parks among others.
The facilities include:
- Grading
- Colour Sorting
- Washing and Drying
- Sterilization
- Crushing
- Powdering and grinding
