The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board, in a recent circular dated 27th February, 2019, has mandated that, the Consent to Operate and Renewal of Consent to Operate will now be issued for a minimum period of five years for large, medium or small scale units irrespective of Red, Orange or Green category Industries if they make payment of requisite fees and comply with other relevant actionable. This has been done in line with ease of doing business and to promote the Make in Maharashtra initiative.
