The Ministry of Steel has, in pursuance of enforcement of the Steel and Steel Products (Quality Control) Order, 2019 (“Order”), issued an Order dated 17^th September, 2019  exempting the following two intermediate/finish products from the  purview of the Order till 16^th March, 2020:

1. Stampings/laminations/ Cores of transformer (with or without winding); and

1. Stainless Steel pipes and tubes
