The Bihar Government has, in a Gazette notification dated 18.11.2020 issued the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition)(Bihar Amendment) Act, 2020. The Amendment is in furtherance to the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) (Bihar Amendment) Ordinance, 2020 that was issued in July this year.
The Amendment is effective immediately and is repealing the earlier Ordinance.
All the changes reported by us in the trail update remains unmodified.
