In a Notification dated 7th December, 2018 the Department of Labour Welfare, Government of Assam has revised the Rate of Variable Dearness Allowance (“VDA”) payable to workers employed in various Scheduled Employment/s in the State under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948. The revised rates will be held as effective with a retrospective effect since 1st June, 2018.
Consequently, the VDA rates stands revised as follows:
