Directorate General of Foreign Trade ( DGFT) has issued a Trade Notice 12/2019-2020 dated 13th May, 2019 to inform that exporters shall no longer be required to submit physical copies of RCMC (Registration Cum Membership Certificate) to DGFT offices for obtaining incentives/ entitlements under Foreign Trade Policy , 2015-20.
Presently, the exporters were required to file the physical copies of the certificate with DGFT. In order to improve easy of doing business and reduce transaction cost the requirement to submit physical copy of RCMC’s has been done away with effect from 1st day of July,2019. Henceforth, validity of RCMC’s can be checked directly from DGFT’S data base which has the uploaded data of RCMC’s from EPCs(Export Promotion Councils).
