Pursuant to an alarming surge in COVID-19 positive cases, lockdown has been extended in the District of Patna, effective since 10th July, 2020 (Friday) till 16th July, 2020 (Thursday).
Key Points:
1. Commercial and Private Establishments shall be closed with the following exceptions:
a. Industrial establishments;
b. IT and IT enabled services only (for essential services) and as far as possible to work from home;
c. Telecommunications, internet services, broadcasting and cable services;
d. Banks, insurance offices and ATM;
e. Capital and debt market services and notified by the Securities and Exchange Board of India;
f. Print and electronic media;
g. Cold Storage and warehousing services;
h. Delivery of all kinds of goods including food, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment through e-commerce;
i. Power generation, transmission and distribution units and services;
j. Private Security services;
k. Hospitality services;
All other establishments may only work from home.
2. Hospitals and all related medical establishments including their manufacturing and distribution units, both in public as well as private sector, such as dispensaries, chemist and medical equipment shops, laboratories, clinics, nursing homes, ambulances etc. shall continue to operate;
3. All places of worship are closed for public and no religious congregations will be permitted;
4. Offices of Government of India, its Autonomous/Subordinate Offices and Public Corporation will be closed; except Defence, Central Armed Police Forces, Treasury, Public Utilities (petroleum, CNG, LPG, PNG), disaster management, power generation and transmission units, post offices, National informatics Centre, Early Warning Agencies;
5. Offices of the State Government, their autonomous bodies, corporation etc. will be closed; except Police, Home Guards, Civil Defence, Fire and Emergency Services, Disaster Management, Elections and Prisons, District Administration, Electricity, Water, Sanitation, Municipal bodies required for essential services;
6. All other activities outside Containment Zones to be regulated as per guidelines on Unlock 2.0 issued by MHA.
