FSSAI had earlier proposed to amend the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, 2011(“Principal Regulations”) by way of the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) …… Amendment Regulations, 2019.
Now, in a recent Notification dated 13th October, 2020 FSSAI has notified the has notified the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Eight Amendment Regulations, 2020.
These regulations have gained effect immediately. Food Business Operators have to comply to the Amendment by 1st July, 2021.
