This is a quick update to let you know that the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (“FSSAI”) had operationalised Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Business) Amendment Regulations, 2018 (“Amendment”) with effect from 15th February, 2018.
Since the Amendment is yet to be notified and it is likely to take some more time, FSSAI has, through a notification, re-operationalised the Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Business) Amendment Regulations, 2019, which is effective 28th February, 2019.
