The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (“FSSAI”) in a notification dated 4th December, 2020 has re-operationalised the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on sales) Amendment Regulations, 2020 relating to incidental presence of Khesari Gram / Dal in pulses / raw pulses.
As the Draft Regulations are in the process of being finalised, which might take some time FSSAI has decided to re-operationalise the amended regulations from 5th December, 2020 till the issuance of the final notification.
