The Government of Bihar, in an Order dated 1st December, 2020 has reduced the rate of RTPCR Testing in the state from Rs. 1500/- to Rs.800.
Further, it will be mandatory for private laboratories to file a report on the ICMR portal. It will be mandatory to give information related to the test on the e-mail (ssobihar@gmail.com) of the State Surveillance Officer by 5:00 pm every day. It will be mandatory to inform all the positive cases immediately to the concerned District Civil Surgeon and District Surveillance Officer for further action.
All the procedures related to COVID-19 will be done according to all the guidelines issued by ICMR earlier. Any amount exceeding Rs 800 / – and non-compliance with the other mentioned provisions will be considered as violation of the relevant provisions of the Epidemic Diseases Act 1897 (as amended) and Bihar Epidemic Covid-19 Regulations -2020.
