The Government of Rajasthan by an Order dated 21st March, 2021 has issued guidelines for control the spread of COVID-19 in the State of Rajasthan.
The guidelines have been issued in order to curb the spread of COVID-19 and to monitor the cases in the State. The guidelines will be in force for the month of March, 2021.
Key points of the guidelines
• From 22nd March, 2021 markets will be closed in the urban bodies after 10 pm. In addition to this, there will be night curfew from 11 pm till 5 am in the urban bodies of Ajmer, Bilwara, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota, Sagwara and Kushalgarh. All market, workplaces and commercial complexes will remain closed during the curfew time.
• However, the curfew will not apply to the following –
a. Factories in which continuous process takes place;
b. Factories with night shift;
c. IT companies;
d. Emergency services;
e. Wedding ceremony;
f. Medical services;
g. Passengers coming from bus stand, railway station and airport;
h. Persons involved in movement of goods and its transportation;
i. Restaurants.
If any violation pertaining to COVID guidelines is found by the authorities, then that institution will be sealed.
• Social / political / sports / recreational / educational / religious events are allowed in areas outside containment zones only after pre-intimating the Sub-Divisional Magistrate preferably by e-mail. There shall be proper screening and all persons will be required to wear masks at all times along with other guidelines.
• For wedding related gatherings maximum people allowed is 200 and for funeral programs not more than 20 people are allowed.
• All activities are permitted outside the containment zones. Cinema / theatres / multiplexes will function with only 50% capacity.

• Precautionary guidelines such as wearing of masks, maintaining social distance in public places and in public transport will be strictly followed.
• Consumption of alcohol, gutka, paan, tobacco etc. is prohibited in public places and is punishable.
• At workplaces, personnel will be called only if required and working from home should be followed wherever possible. Other measures such as thermal checks, cleaning of frequently touched surfaces, staggering of work hours, etc. will be followed.
• Vulnerable persons (persons above the age of 65, people suffering from chronic diseases, pregnant women, children below the age of 10 years) are advised to stay at home and leave only for essential and health purposes.
• There is no restriction on movement of goods and no separate permission / e-pass will be required.
• The number of persons travelling by any vehicle will not exceed the approved seating capacity of the registered vehicle.
• People entering the State from outside to carry a negative RT-PCR test report that should be done 72 hours prior to the commencement of the journey. If a passenger fails to submit a negative test report, he will be put into mandatory 15 day quarantine upon arrival.
