The Lok Sabha Secretariat has, through a press release dated 13th January, 2020, informed that the Hon’ble Speaker of the Lok Sabha has referred the Code on Social Security, 2019 (“CSS”), to the Standing Committee on Labour (“Committee”), headed by Shri Bhartruhari Mahtab, MP, for examination and report.
The Committee has invited views/suggestions on CSS from the public, non-governmental organisations, experts, stakeholders and other institutions.
The procedure for submitting written memoranda/suggestions and tendering oral evidence before the Committee has been made available on the website https://www.loksabha.nic.in .
