In order to implement Ease of Doing Business, the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (“Board”) has issued information for simplification of applications, simplification of desired procedures for acceptance / approval, determination of time limit for procedures for the following services-
1. Establishment consent, operating consent and renewal of consent under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981
2. Renewal under the Hazardous Waste (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016
3. Renewal under the Bio-medical Waste Management Rules, 2016
4. Renewal under E-Waste Management Rules, 2016
5. Registration and Renewal of Registration under the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016.
For registration and renewal, the Board has terminated physical contact with the industry / institute project mover for the above mentioned services.
For the purposes described in point number-1 above, online facility has been provided as follows:
i. Receipt of application.
ii. Payment of application fee.
iii. Application status information.
iv. Facility to download final certificate.
For the above services, the online dash board has the status of establishment consent, operating consent, renewal of consent, renewal of authority, registration and registration of registered renewal, the number of total applications and their status is updated at the weekly / monthly level and the mean / median of these data (Mean Median) is displayed.
