The Jammu and Kashmir General Administration (Co-ordination) Department (“Department”) has declared the list of Public Holidays for the year 2019, under the Negotiable Instruments Act,1881(“N.I. Act”) in a Notification dated 12th December, 2018.
Under the Explanation to Section 25 of the N.I. Act read with the Government of India Notification (No. 20/25/56/Pub-1) dated 8th June, 2018 (Page 5) , the Department has declared this list of holidays as Public Holidays in the State of Jammu and Kashmir for the calendar year 2019.
