In a recent Office Order dated 11th February, 2019, the Jharkhand Pollution Control Board has revised the fee for processing applications for authorization under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016, effective 11th February, 2019.
While the Order retains the old nomenclature of the law i.e. Hazardous Wastes (Management Handling and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2008, please note that the 2016 Rules has superseded / repealed the Hazardous Wastes (Management Handling and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2008.
The fees for processing the applications for authorisation have been revised as a fallout of the 36th Board meeting held on 21st December, 2018 (Agenda No.18).
