The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (“KSPCB”) has revised the categories of industries/organizations/activities under the consent mechanism to obtain Consent for Establishment (CFE) and Consent for Operation (CFO) under the Water Act,1974 and the Air Act,1981. In the revised categorization, the following sectors have been included in the orange category:
i. Cement products (without using asbestos/ with or without boiler/ steam, curing) activity.
ii. Moulding of gift articles and momentum.
iii. Electro- decomposition coating for auto components.
