n a recent circular dated 8^th February, 2019, the Kerala Pollution Control Board has added industries which were previously not included in the Red/Orange/Green and White category list basis their pollution potential.

Some of the industries that have been categorised are as follows:

1. E-Waste refurbishing unit – White
2. E-Waste dismantling Unit – Orange
3. Common Sewage Treatment Plant – Red
4. Metal pipe bending unit without welding, heat treatment and
5. Painting – White
6. Collection and disposal of Iron barrel (Pressing only) (Except hazardous chemicals by CPCB guidelines) – White
