In a circular dated 25th January, 2019, the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (“MIDC”) has declared the decision to carry out a Fire and Life Safety Survey of all Occupancies / Industries and other units in MIDC, Industrial areas across Maharashtra.
Background:
In the wake of various fire incidences occurred in MIDC industrial areas resulting in loss of the precious human life and damage to national property, MIDC has taken a decision to carry out detail survey of industrial and all other units situated in MIDC industrial areas across the state.
All industrial units in MIDC industrial areas are hereby informed to provide the information and co-operate, which will be further help from the Fire and Life Safety point of view.
