Further to what has been already reported, the ministry of Corporate Affairs (“MCA”), informed that it would be shortly notifying & deploying a new Web Form SPICe+, pronounced as ‘SPICe Plus’ which will be replacing the existing SPICe form (Simplified Proforma for Incorporating Company Electronically), through a notification dated 6th February, 2020, MCA has issued an amendment to the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014 to incorporate these changes.
Through the Companies (lncorporation) Amendment Rules, 2020 (“Amendment Rules”), it has introduced an upgraded Simplified Proforma for Incorporating Company Electronically Plus (“SPICe+”) for application of reservation of company name and has further informed that for change of name, web service Reserve Unique Name (“RUN”) is to be used.
The Amendment Rules also states that the application for registration of the Goods and Service Tax Identification Number (GSTIN), Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) registration and Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) registration is to be done through the e-form AGILE-PRO (Form INC-35) instead of AGILE.
The above changes will come into effect from 15th February, 2020.
