In reference to the trail mail pertaining to the update on “Condonation of Delay Scheme 2018” (“Scheme”), the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (“Ministry”) has issued a final General Circular (“Final Circular”) dated 29th December, 2017 on the Scheme.
The Final Circular lays down the format for the e-Form CODS 2018 (“e-Form”) which should be filed by defaulting companies for condoning delay in filing documents under this Scheme..
The Ministry has intimated that the e-Form will be made available to all stakeholders from 20.02.2018 or on an alternate date. Such alteration in date will be further intimated by the Ministry in its website (www.mca.gov.in).
The stakeholder(s) have been directed to complete the necessary procedural requirements and file overdue documents without waiting for the availability of the e-Form. The copy of the e-Form is provided in page 4 of the hyperlink below.
