The Ministry of Labour and Employment (“Ministry”) has granted a further extension to the last date of filing Unified online Annual Return (“Annual Return”) under the following labour laws:
- The Payment of Wages Act, 1936
- The Minimum Wages Act, 1948
- The Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970
- The Inter-State Migrant Workmen (RE&CS) Act, 1979
- The Maternity Benefit Act, 1961
- The Industrial Disputes Act 1947
- Payment of Bonus Act, 1965, and
- The Building and Other Construction workers (Regulation of Employment & Conditions of Service) Act, 1996
Previously, the Ministry had extended the date of filing Annual Return up to 30th April, 2020. Now, the last date for filing the Annual Return has been extended upto 30th June, 2020.
