PFRDA issues circular to PoP and CRAs to host information of applicable charges etc. for APY subscribers on their websites; also allows PoP to choose CRAs

In a recent circular issued by Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (“PFRDA”) to Central Recordkeeping Agencies (“CRAs”) and Point of Presence (“PoP”) registered with PFRDA, the PoPs are allowed to choose a CRA of their choice with the option of having multiple CRAs for servicing APY subscribers.

The PoP and CRAs will be responsible for all data including timely sharing of MIS with concerned stakeholders. Additionally, both PoP and CRAs must host information pertaining to the charges applicable and all other relevant information to APY subscribers on their respective websites.
