The Punjab Water Resources (Management and Regulation) Bill, 2020 which was earlier published in the Punjab Government Gazette dated 16th January, 2020, has now received the assent of the Governor of Punjab on 4th February, 2020.
The Punjab Water Resources (Management and Regulation) Act, 2020 (“Act”) has been published in the Punjab Government Gazette dated 12th February, 2020 for general information.
The Act will come into force on such date which the Government will appoint by a separate notification.
