Through a Press Release dated 16th October, 2020 the Tamil Nadu Government has directed employers who hire interstate migrant worker to register the details of their interstate migrant workers at the portal https://labour.tn.gov.in/ism/ .
Failure to register the details of the migrant workers will result in legal action against factories, building contractors and businesses.
