The Uttarakhand State Pollution Control Board has published a newspaper article dated 22nd January, 2020 on its website, prescribing the proforma for the display board which has to be displayed outside the premises at the main gate of industrial units in Uttarakhand.
The display board must contain details such as
- the name and address of the company;
- the conditions of waste water discharge;
- the quantity of effluent generation per day;
- the quality of treated effluent;
- the conditions and control measures for air emissions;
- authorisation obtained under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016; etc.
