While informing that an Expert Committee has been set up to conduct audit of deaths suspected to have been caused owing to dengue, the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal (“Department”) has, in its notification dated June 12, 2019, also mentioned that all health facilities must submit the BHT, treatment history, laboratory investigation report, death certificate or any other document as required by the Committee to ascertain the cause of death.
