Recognizing that licensing of business enterprises / businesses under the Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964 and the Karnataka Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 is a form of regulation and burden for enterprises, the Government of Karnataka has informed that under the abovementioned legislations, licenses of businesses will be renewed automatically by e-payment of the fee fixed through the portal of the Department.
Further, under this provision, investors / companies cannot apply separately but the applicant must download the digital signature permit directly through the department portal without any physical contact with the department.
