The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (“CDSCO”) had issued an earlier circular dated 17th April 2020, specifying special conditions under which permission for importing drugs with residual shelf life less than 60% was allowed.
Considering the current COVID-19 scenario and the hardships brought about by it, CDSCO has extended the effective date of the Order dated 17th April, 2020 to 31st October 2020 or till further order, whichever is earlier.
