Bringing in more transparency, Andhra Pradesh Government launches online portal for issuing Fire Attendance Certificate

The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Response and Fire Services Department (“Department”) has in a circular dated 19th June 2019 launched an Online mechanism for issuing Fire Attendance Certificate (“Certificate”) with an object to bring more transparency in the system and to provide user-friendly access to the public.

Key Highlights:

  • This facility has been developed to enable all the sectors of people and occupancies like Residential, Educational, Institutional, Assembly, Business, Mercantile, Storage, other stakeholders and going forward such Certificate shall not be issued manually at any point of time.
  • All District Fire Officers must guide the public regarding how to download the Certificate from the web portal of the Department.
