In an Order dated 7th October, 2020, the Chandigarh Administration has revised and fixed maximum testing rates for COVID-19 to be charged by private laboratories in the Union Territory of Chandigarh.
The revised rates for COVID-19 testing are as follows –
1. RT-PCR Testing – Rs. 1200/- per test;
2. Rapid Antigen Testing – Rs. 650/- per test.
Note – The test rates are inclusive of GST/Taxes alongwith pick-up cost, PPE, packing, transportation of samples, and documentation.
In addition to this, all laboratories conducting COVID-19 testing must adhere to the guidelines and SOPs issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and ICMR.
